  • 1 The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly Blessed Prov. 4:14 is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Ps. 26:4, 5; Jer. 15:17 Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
  • 2 But Ps. 119:14, 16, 35 his delight is in the law of the Lord , (Josh. 1:8) And in His law he meditates day and night.
  • 3 He shall be like a tree (Ps. 92:12–14); Jer. 17:8; Ezek. 19:10 Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall Gen. 39:2, 3, 23; Ps. 128:2 prosper.
  • 4 The ungodly are not so, But are Job 21:18; Ps. 35:5; Is. 17:13 like the chaff which the wind drives away.
  • 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
  • 6 For Ps. 37:18; (Nah. 1:7; John 10:14;2 Tim. 2:19) the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
