  • 1 “ 2:1 BRIDE I am the 2:1 Lit crocus rose of Sharon,The lily of the valleys.”
  • 2 ¶“ 2:2BRIDEGROOM Like a lily among the thorns,So is my darling among the daughters.”
  • 3 ¶“ 2:3 BRIDE Like an 2:3 Or apricot apple tree among the trees of the forest,So is my beloved among the sons.In his shade I had great desire and sat down,And his fruit was sweet to my 2:3 Lit palate taste.
  • 4 “He has brought me tohis 2:4 Lit house of wine house of banqueting,And his banner over me is love.
  • 5 “Sustain me with raisin cakes,Refresh me with 2:5Or apricots apples,Because I am lovesick.
